DescriptionMaya painted vase, Late Classic period, with cylindrical sides and six seated figures, three with folded arms, and three holding various objects. Each figure is wearing plumed headdress and a knotted loin-cloth. There are areas of glyphs and the interior is painted with criss-cross and dotted decoration. It is painted in tan, orange, black, and white on a pale orange ground.
