DescriptionMaya standing male figure, Uaymil, Late Classic period, with downcast eyes, left hand holding a scroll at his side, and the right arm slightly raised with the forearm now missing. He is wearing plumed headdress with rope work at the back, pendulous ear ornaments, heavy necklace, and a long robe and loin-cloth. All are incised with stippling. He also has sashed sandals, and cheek ornamentation. Traces of orange, white, blue, ochre, and red pigment remaining.
