DescriptionMaya dancer-musician flute figure, Late Classic period, playing a flattened drum held against his left shoulder. He is wearing loin-cloth with incised sash, leg bands, rope work necklace with ferocious avial projecting across his shoulder, and crested and plumed headdress. There are remains of blue and red pigment.
