DescriptionZacatecas style seated figures, a dancer and a drummer, from the Late Formative period. The pregnant female figure has her legs extended forward and hands placed to her waist. The male figure has a drum held between his raised knees, with horned projections from the sides of his head. Both figures have pierced eyes and mouths, and painted a deep brownish-orange and ochre, with areas of black linear decoration.
