DescriptionMaya (Honduran) painted and incised vase, Late Classic period, with a wide central band of standing figures alternating with kneeling figures. They are flanked by two carved cartouches enclosing avial (?) heads, and with carved and painted bands above and below. It is painted in reddish-brown, black and orange on a pale orange ground.
