DescriptionBöttger Meissen tankard decorated in gold at Augburg with chinoiserie figures in a garden. The silver gilt cover is engraved with 4 profile medallions, and the central four-lobed panel is symbolic of Asia from the Continents with an interlaced serpent-headed thumbpiece.
