DescriptionRare hexagonal Chelsea teapot and cover, enamelled in an unusual version of the Imari style. Each side is enamelled in alternating panels of flowering peonies on a red ground and blossoming prunus on a green spotted ground. The cover is similarly decorated and surmounted by a green finial, and the spout and handle are in green enamel.
