MarkingsSaucer impressed "MINTON" and cipher mark for 1865, two unidentifiable ciphers; painted pattern number A663 and tally mark in orange on both.
DescriptionTeacup and saucer are decorated in Sèvres style. There are two narrow gilt bands with a row of gilt medallions alternating with floral sprays in polychrome enamels between the bands. The gilt is burnished on top with recessed acid etched lower surface, and the gilt bands contain a two level Greek key design.
