DescriptionA Vienna Du Paquier tankard of small cylindrical shape, decorated at Breslaw, probably by Ignaz Bottengruber. It has a central scroll-edged panel in sepia camaieu showing playing children, with one riding on a tiger. It is all within a coloured net of Laub und Bandelwerk entwined with branches of vine leaves and grapes. It is enclosing two other scenes of children on drapery bases.
