DescriptionBöttger Meissen teapot and cover with squat globular body, bird's-head spout and scrolling handle. It is decorated in gilding at Augsburg with chinoiserie landscapes each supported on scrollwork. The domed cover showing a mandarin seated amid leaf scrolls.
