DescriptionMeissen teapot and cover decorated in gilding, possibly in the Aufenwerth workshop. It has chinoiserie scenes supported on gilt scrollwork brackets and divided by applied chrysanthemum sprays and birds. It is heightened in blue enamels and gilding, and all within gilt scrollwork borders. The low domed cover similarly decorated.
