DescriptionHausmaler bowl decorated in the Aufenwerth workshop in Augsburg with two scenes taken from Ovid's Metamorphoses. One is representing the story of Vertumnus and Pomona, the figures painted in colours within landscapes in schwarzlot. Each is resting on a silver scrollwork bracket, the rim with similar silver scrollwork border.
