DescriptionMeissen yellow-ground two-handled écuelle cover and stand, the serpent handles enriched in blue and manganese. It is painted in the manner of C.F. Herold, with Chinoiserie figures making tea among flowering plants on terraces in quatrefoil surrounds on butter-yellow ground. The finial formed as a monkey and the saucer stand with trembleuse ring painted with Indianische Blumen.
