DescriptionA Meissen pilgrim-flask scent bottle with Louis XVI gold mounts. The masks are enriched in Botteger and gold, and the sides painted in the manner of C. F. Herold with Chinoiserie figures on terraces. The fluted neck and gadrooned lower part are gilt. The three-coloured gold mounts to the foot and neck are matted and decorated with foliage in relief and with inner gold-mounted glass stopper.
