MarkingsCrossed swords in underglaze blue.
DescriptionMeissen teapot and cover, with brown-sponged crabstock handles and spout. The magnolia-shaped body is enamelled in the Kakiemon style with a red flying fox above a yellow tree squirrel foraging amongst vines on banded hedges on one side. There is a flowering branch on the other side, and a flying fox beneath the rear handle.
