DescriptionChinese porcelain shallow bowl, blue and white, 'mantouxin' form with recessed dome base. It has glaze thick with bubbles, and the interior is painted with a central medallion of a coiled five clawed dragon beneath a frieze with a dragon chasing a flaming pearl chased by a phoenix. The reverse frieze has four fish alternating with lotus and aquatic plants.
