DescriptionMaiolica figure of the Madonna and Child standing in dignified posture holding the Child high to her right shoulder. The Madonna is wearing a long blue dress, and her head covered in a white veil. There is a long mantle lined in manganese, decorated with stars in blue on an ochre ground, and with green and blue border. The Child is in a blue robe trimmed in ochre. Both figures are haloed, and the green mound base is painted with flowers in blue.
