DescriptionAfter a Meissen silver-shaped dish, painted in colours with the arms of Gavin impaling Hearsey, argent a sword in pale azure ensigned with a mullet gules surmounted by a saltire couped sable, with crest, a two-masted sailing ship flying the blue ensign, surrounded by scattered floral sprigs in dove grey and black, gilt line rim, decorated in the workshops of James Giles
