DescriptionA Meissen spouted reintl (three-footed vessel for hot liquids) with silver-gilt mounts by Elias Adam of Augsburg. It is supported on three paw feet and decorated with chinoiserie panels painted in the manner of A. von Lowenfinck. It is reserved on a pale yellow ground, and the cover is similarly decorated. The scroll-moulded spout and handle are picked out in purple.
