DescriptionLambeth polychrome armorial mug with globular body surmounted by a short cylindrical neck moulded with two collars. The stout loop handle has a 'rolled-over' terminal. It is painted in the front with a coat-of-arms with blue, yellow and green mantling. The coat-of-arms includes a sable with a wide chevron between three 'escallops argent', and with 'per fesse azure' and a pale counterchanged. There are also three lions rampant in the middle.The slightly pink-tinted glaze is covering the base which is marked in blue with cruciform motifs.
