DescriptionHoly water container of circular bulbous shape painted with bands of scrolling flowering foliage in dark blue, green and yellow on a pale-blue ground. The interior has the coat-of-arms of the da Mula family, one of Venice's noble families, and a dedication to a woman, "Suor dona da Mula." The foliage moulded handles are enriched in yellow, pierced and fitted with a contemporary iron loop handle.
