DescriptionJalisco seated female figure, Late Formative period, with short arms held slightly away from the sides of her body, open palms, closely-set pellet eyes. Figure is wearing skirt tied at her waist, pendant necklace, banded arm and earrings, and her coiffure held by a broad band. The figure is painted in buff with areas of orange criss-cross and other geometric patterns.
