DescriptionMaya mold-made whistle, Jaina, Late Classic period, with right arm upraised and clenched fist, and the left hand held to the chest. He is wearing an incised long robe, shawl, and removable manta ray headdress with lower portion molded with human features. It is surmounted with claws protruding from the sides of the forehead, and is painted white.
