DescriptionLarge basket of oval form, moulded on the exterior with a basket-weave design, escalloped rim, and applied with two twig wrapped handles. It is painted in underglaze blue with an unrecorded Chinese river scene with pagoda, figures fishing from a bridge, trees and a large rock, scattered floral sprays and a shaped diaper trellis border.
