DescriptionPair of Vases of flattened pilgrim-bottle shape, square in section with raised inverted heart shaped panels with two rococo foliate scroll handles. It is painted with a claret-ground, and the reserves is painted in polychrome enamels with shepherds and shepherdess in pastoral scenes after François Boucher. They have gilt scrollwork and flowers with ciselée details and dentil bands at the foot and line bands at the rim and on the handles.
