DescriptionAn unrecorded Böttger porcelain armorial figure of Augustus the Strong standing in dramatic pose and full armour, with a baton is in his right hand. The figure has an olive wreath, a grey wig, and flowing gilt cloak reserved with indianische Blumen and lined with yellow. His silvered Armour is tied with a purple sash and enriched with gilding. The high, almost cubic, base is painted with the arms of Saxony and Wettin within baroque grisaille cartouches beneath an electoral hat.
