Descriptionfrom the “Lord Craven Service”, of oval section, the everted sides pierced with basketwork, applied with florets at the interstices, painted in turquoise and puce enamel, and crabstock handles terminating in flower sprays, the interior painted in colours in the pattern with a large mixed flower spray within a broad scale blue band enriched with ciselé gilt sprays, decorated in the workshops of James Giles
