DescriptionSèvres coffee can and saucer with a scroll handle heightened in gilt, resting on a deep circular saucer with flaring sides. The coffee can is decorated in the front with an oval reserve enframed within a purple and gilt band enclosing a brown and yellow vase filled with colourful arrangement of garden flowers. It is resting on a greyish-white stone ledge, all against a blue ground. The cavetto of the saucer is decorated with a bouquet of mixed garden flowers and fruits. The remaining ground of each piece coloured 'jaune Jonquille' (Daffodil yellow) with sprigs of iron- red flowers and green leaves. The rims of the coffee can and saucer both having purple and gilt bands.
