DescriptionA Worcester yellow-ground jug of cabbage leaf type. The lobed cylindrical neck is moulded with the mask of a bearded red-haired man below the spout and decorated with insects and sprigs of garden flowers below a stiff leaf border. The globular body is moulded with overlapping cabbage leaves and is painted on either side with a flamboyant bouquet of flowers in enamel colours on a pale yellow ground. The scroll handle painted with rocaillerie and sprigs of flowers in puce.
