DescriptionA Derby yellow-ground bucket-shaped chocolate-cup, cover and trembleuse saucer with entwined twig handles enriched with gilt foliage. It is painted by James Banford with a shepherd and shepherdess in a rocky landscape and a mountainous river scene within gilt oval cartouches. The gilt line borders have oval white dot-pattern.
