DescriptionMaya incised covered dish, Early Classic period, with flanged base incised with linear decoration, and slightly flaring cylindrical bowl. Surmounted by a domed lid with bird's head handle with large ridged eyes, curving beak and notched crest, and incised wide spread wings over the lid.
