DescriptionJalisco seated warrior, Late Formative period, holding a shield in the left hand, a curving weapon in the right, and wearing rope around the neck and under the left arm. The figure has a crested helmet with tassels down the back, and shoulder decoration. The warrior is painted in greyish-buff with areas of deep brownish-orange and white geometric decoration.
