DescriptionPair of Nymphenburg chinoiserie incense (pastille) burners, modelled by Franz Anton Bustelli as a Chinese man and companion. They are seated crossed-legged and their arms folded into their sleeves. The man has a yellow conical hat and jacket and green trousers, and his companion is in a brown hat and collar and puce-striped yellow dress. They sit on puce and salmon cushions, and the white socles on four bracket feet.
