DescriptionPair of Bow oviform vases with a narrow flared neck encirled by a red and gilt formal border below the mouth. The body is enamelled in the Kakiemon style with pheasants flying and perched upon flowering prunus and bamboo stalks issuing from banded hedges. The domed foot has a cut-out rim enamelled with floral sprigs.
