DescriptionTeapot is an oval shape with curving sides referred to as "New Oval", with a deep inset lid. It is hand painted in shades of black showing landscape scenes containing a thatched cottage on one side and a ruin on the other. It has a high curving loop handle with top spur gilding on handle and on spout. It has gilt edges on the body, and the lid has landscape scenes in black, gilt edges and gilt finial.
