DescriptionBayreuth Hausmaler beaker and saucer decorated by J. P. Dannhoffer in green, iron-red, yellow, lilac, black and gilding. The saucer is showing a Chinese lady holding a fan and standing in a garden with flowering shrubs. The beaker is painted on one side with an Asian lady and gentleman standing beside a low altar. The reverse has a bird perched on a rock flanked by flowering plants, with gilt scroll borders.
