DescriptionPair of Meissen figures of Harlequin and Columbine as children, mounted on French ormolu bases. Harlequin turns to the right and Columbine to the left. Harlequin is dressed in a yellow hat with a white plume. A white ruff is around his neck. His jacket and pants are pale pink with a puce scale design all over except for the backs of the pants and sleeves. Both jacket and pants have gold edgings, and he wears yellow shoes with a blue bow. Columbine wears a pink Juliette cap edged with puce and with flowers over the left side. She wears a yellow dress trimmed with puce and blue and holds her white apron out to the sides with both hands. She also has yellow shoes with blue bows.
