DescriptionMeissen figure of a Harlequin with a bird modelled by Johann Joachim Kaendler and Johann Friedrich Eberlein. He is seated on a mound with a large wooden cage. His painted and moustached face are glancing downwards and holding above his head a bird, with his body inclining slightly towards the left arm and hand resting on bending knee. He is wearing a round orange hat, a ruffle collar and a yellow and orange jacket with a purple, aqua, and yellow triangle design and playing cards. As well as white pantaloons and ribboned orange shoes. On a round base with applied flowers and leaves.
