DescriptionMeissen figure of Harlequin with a bird modelled by Johann Joachim Kaendler and Johann Friedrich Eberlein. He is seated on a grassy mound with large applied flowers in multicolour and a black and white cat at his feet, and an empty birdcage rests at his side. Harlequin is holding a bird aloft in his right hand and is wearing a turquoise hat with a puce brim and yellow bowknot. His jacket is decorated with playing cards, puce fish scales, a panel of solid puce and a section with triangles of turquoise, puce, yellow and black, white pants and yellow shoes with puce bows.
