DescriptionWorcester (Dr. Wall) yellow-ground hexagonal vase and cover. It is transfer-printed in lilac and coloured with Classical ruins and figures within landscape vignettes within purple ogival cartouches. The shoulder has four flower-sprays in the Kakiemon style, and the neck and flange to the cover has an iron-red diaper-pattern.
